The Severn Wye Energy Agency was set up to stimulate the development of sustainable energy through local and regional action for energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources. It is an independent (not-for-profit) company and registered charity. The Severn Wye Energy Agency offers support to local authorities in the achievement of their objectives under the Home Energy Conservation Act. It also offers strategic planning for renewable energy, as well as developing a range of initiatives with other local, regional and national bodies.
